300zx Photos
My co-worker just got his 300zx back from the shop and we thought it would be a good idea to take some photos.
This car started out as an N/A 1993 Nissan 300zx – with an automatic transmission. This car only barely feels like it did when my co-worker got it. With a new stage 2 engine, twin turbos and a 5 speed gear box this car now puts down 649rwhp. Which is a big step up from the 167rwhp the car started with.
Keeping it tasteful
My co-worker opted to keep the car looking “near stock” with, what I would consider, a few very tasteful mods. Though some purists would probably disagree. For example, he removed the rear windshield wiper. At some point he will remove the antenna as well, which I believe will lend to a more clean look.
His wheels are Avant Garde M368 and he is running a Nismo brake setup to give him drastically increased stopping performance over what the car came with. He has a very subtle front end, it’s so subtle you’d almost miss the two massive intercoolers on either side.
I am still a die hard Subaru fan, but I must admit this is one extremely good looking and extremely scary ride. Not many people put this much love into a 20 year old car, but I’m glad he did.
